The ‘Art of Books’ exhibition will be open to the public from July 7 to October 20 at Prague Castle’s Royal Summer Palace (also known as Belveder), organized by the Prague Castle Administration in cooperation with the Identita project and the Museum of Czech Literature.

The exhibition takes an unconventional look at books, not through their content but through their form. It presents them as aesthetic or art objects, and offers a selection of noteworthy books from the perspective of typographic or letterform execution, attention to craft, or unique illustrations. The library of Franz Kafka can also be viewed, as can an exhibition of the most beautiful Czech books, an airy reading room with exceptional publications across genres, plusart objects inspired by the book by František Skála, Evy Koťátková and Krištof Kintera.

The exhibition is open daily from 10am to 6pm.
